The secret begins with Windy Hill Meadows heritage Angus cattle.  The Wolter family has been developing their line of heritage Angus for multiple generations to provide the perfect combination of marbling to the muscle that aims to bring the succulent flavor of the marbling while providing the meaty experience found in the perfect steak.  The careful selection process has eliminated the excessive fat around the edges and tough fibers found in other sources of beef.  Most important their careful attention to measurement and records has enabled some of the most efficient growing cattle in the world ensuring our supply is sustainable over the decades to come.

Our special animals are grown by Stone Creek Farms in a safe, humane, and caregiving environment.  Their diet is fresh daily and designed by our nutritionist to meet requirements based on their age, weight, and gender.  Most unique to our cattle nutrition program is the ratio and types of locally grown forages and grains used in a precise combination that enables our flavor profile.  The beef is rich in vitamins and minerals as a result of our fortification of the animal’s diets with natural vitamin and mineral supplements.
